ST VINCENT DE PAUL’S MEMBERS

We welcome those who wish to become Vincentians in order to help those in need and participate in communal spiritual growth.  We work together to help those in need and want to share with you the joy of service in conducting home visits, organizing clothing drives, providing holiday meals at Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter, managing our website, serving communion to those in assisted living locations, and much, much more. We pray and study together to deepen our faith and would welcome your unique contribution.  We look forward to discussing the many ways in which your energy and talents may help us all to serve and grow.  We hope God is calling you to join us! Email us at svdpcparl@gmail.com if you are interested.

PARTNER SPOTLIGHT:

This time, we want to highlight Arlington EATS and its continuous partnership with our Conference. Their support has helped us increase the number of neighbors we serve in our community. From the generous grants and donations Arlington EATS has made to our Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter holiday meal delivery programs to the monthly space provided for distributing children's diapers and wipes to those in need, their contributions have been invaluable.

I volunteer with SVDP CPARL because, in this often cruel and very difficult world, we need more and more followers of Jesus' mandate to minister to those who are less fortunate when he said, "Inasmuch as you have done it to one of the least of these my brothers, you have done it to me." (Matthew 25:34)

I find that with SVDP spirituality we can provide a hand up to those who are down and seek to “do whatever good is at our hands.” (Frederick Ozanam) Prayer and action, hot or cold, never lukewarm, and an attitude of Christ’s beatitudes enables SVDP Arlington to answer the calls, meet people where they are at, and remember all in our prayers.
